The Rally Aims

Alanya Marina, starting and finish place of the Rally
To create an international chain of friendship, understanding, dialogue and co-operation amongst yachtsmen and the communities of the host countries.
To promote openness between the yachting community and the countries we visit.
To enjoy sailing as a way of life; combining pleasure, comfort and experience, without incurring great costs.
We will share the experiences of interesting excursions to see some of the greatest sights in the world. (Pyramids, Cairo, Luxor, Sinai, Petra….)
The open character of the rally makes it possible for each yacht to make her own way to any point.
Spending a winter in a region with excellent weather conditions (no rain or storms).
Swimming, snorkeling or diving on wonderful coral reefs.
Fishing and enjoying the fun of catching big fish.
Please note:
The rally is a non-profit-making enterprise - the only costs will be for smoothing the way, T-shirts, caps, banners, burgees, etc. Website and administration costs etc.
The rally is a guide only and participants are responsible for their own navigation and decisions, as to the safety of a particular passage or anchorage.
The number of yachts in the rally may be limited, in which case applications will be accepted on the first come to first served basis. This is dependence the size of yachts and the number of yachts spend the winter in Hurghada or sail to Eritrea and back.
