Fourth Vasco da Gama Yacht Rally 2009 - 2010
At the moment you read this website of fourth rally, the plans are almost definitive, but changes will be possible due weather, local or other circumstances.

Installing a Class B AIS Transponder is very useful for your and others safety. Also an EPIRP has show their importance in the previous rallies.

If you take your time, sailing in the wintertime trough the Red Sea is very nice, perfect anchorages, clear waters, dive and snorkeling on the reefs are amazing, and the climate is mild. I did it 5 times before and mostly single handed.
