TEMPORARY TIME TABLE

Start from Alanya, Saturday 22 September 2012 to Port Said, Egypt, with a stop in the anchorage in Paphos (Cyprus).

Arrival Port Said 26th September 2012, where we will stay 4 days for “Suez Canal clearance and – measurement”.
30 September we leave Port Said for Ismailia, an excursion to Cairo and the pyramids.
07 October 2012 from Ismailia to Port Suez, option for an excursion to the Sinai and St. Catharina Monastery.
Between the 12th and 14th of October 2012, free start to Wadi Dome marina and an excursion to St. Paul Monastery.
16 October 2012, free sail to Hurghada with a lot of time for diving and snorkeling around Hurghada. From there we sail to the Gulf of Aqaba as far as Eilat and Aqaba to visit Jeruzalem and Petra. Between 15 December and 4 January 2013 a stop in Hurghada Marina to celebrate Christmas and New Year and a visit to Luxor and/or Aswan. Hurghada and Eilat are good options for a flight to your home country or for guests who would like to visit you. We can also arrange a one week diving course.
3 January 2013, start to Suakin in Sudan, free sailing, diving and snorkeling. The many anchorages make it possible to sail this leg almost in day trips only.
From Suakin we sail to Masawa in Eritrea where we join the Fenkel festival, (Battle of Masawa) from 7 to 10 February. Further a visit to the Capital Asmara at 2200 meter height in the mountains. We try to do the 80 KM long stretch by steam train. Also 2 weeks sailing in the nice Dahlak Archipelago.
7 March, start back to Suakin and Hurghada and trough the Suez Canal to the Med. We will have a lot of time for diving, fishing and snorkeling.

Finish in Alanya Approx. 15 May 2013. All the dates are subject to the weather situation and changes can be made. The number of yachts in the Rally may be limited, in wich case applications will be accepted on the first come to first served basis.
